Kingdom Keys / Piano Keys

One day, as I was looking online for new songs, listening to a bunch of newly released worship CDs...I took my hands off the computer keyboard and asked the Lord to please take me to the music and the songs He wanted me to hear. Immediately, I started singing these words as they filled my mind:

I have given you the keys to My kingdom
I have given you the keys to My heart
They are yours for unlocking the mysteries
They are yours for releasing the sparks
Of the flames of My glory
Of the fire of My purity
The inferno of My love that burns for you, for you.

I went to my piano and found the chords to match the melody. At first I thought this song was for His people; I thought He wanted me to sing it over them--from Him for them. But He began to speak to my heart about it. No, this song was for me--from Him for me!!  He was affirming His call on my life. He invited me to step "through the veil" and into heavenly realms like I never have before. He invited me to spend time with Him. There are sounds He wants me to hear there and then release here.

I think that if you want to know what God wants for you, you should ask Him! He answers in the coolest ways!

I'm back!

Hey, it's been a long time since I've written! Needless to say (why do we say that and then say what we just said was 'needless to say' anyway?)...some things have changed since my last post, but most things haven't.

Still head-over-heels in love with my husband; still loving every time I get to be with my grand babies; still singing & leading worship; still hungry for more of God.

One change, we moved from the beautiful house on the lake to an apartment back in town...a bit of an adjustment, but we are happy. Hubby is closer to work and I am closer to kids and grand babies.

Also, the hubster & I have taken up running. Our goal is to begin running 5k's...then maybe 10k's...then maybe a half marathon. I don't want to train for or run more than 13.whatever miles, I admire the people who do. But that ain't me!!!!

Well, that's it for me for now. It's good to be back!
